I have reservations about even Condorcet in single-member constituencies, as I suspect it could in many circumstances deliver a massive majority to a party (particularly a centrist party, or one targetting a particular scapegoated minority). I like plurality, especially given this country's current political make-up.
I could be wrong. I find it difficult to get a handle on how a Condorcet counting system would play out in the UK at the moment, and long-term, the political landscape might well adjust to suit the voting system.
